Red Sunstone & Rabbit Hair

Red-orange Sunstone carries a deeper, more saturated body colour than the warm amber variety — the same natural aventurescence, produced by microscopic hematite or goethite platelets within the feldspar, but with a stronger red-orange intensity that deepens further in direct light. Rabbit Hair Quartz brings fine rose-gold rutile threads suspended in water-clear quartz, a delicate counterpoint to the warmth of the Sunstone. Together the two stones share a richness of tone while offering entirely different textures: the broad, shifting shimmer of Sunstone against the precise, directed lines of the rutile.

In the crystal tradition, red-orange Sunstone is associated with warmth, personal drive, and an energising quality that many wearers find particularly useful during sustained periods of creative or focused work. Rutilated Quartz is associated with clarity and a quiet inner vitality. Many find the combination a considered and complementary daily choice.

This bracelet is made to a 15.5cm inner measurement on high-elastic wire — a standard to slightly fitted sizing. To find your size, wrap a soft tape measure, or a strip of paper, around the fullest part of your wrist, then add roughly 1–1.5cm for a comfortable fit. Crystal is durable, but not indestructible. Remove your bracelet before showering, swimming, or sleeping, and keep it away from perfume, lotion, and direct heat, which can dull the surface over time. To clean, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. When resting it, lay it flat rather than stretching it over a hook — this protects the elastic cord and keeps the beads sitting evenly.
