Sunstone & Rabbit Hair

Sunstone is a feldspar with a natural aventurescence — a warm, glittering shimmer produced by microscopic platelets of hematite or goethite within the stone that catch and reflect light in every direction. The warm amber-gold body colour deepens in direct light and softens in shade. Rabbit Hair Quartz is a rutilated quartz in which the rutile inclusions take a fine, hair-like form — reddish to rose-gold threads suspended in water-clear quartz. Together the two stones share a warmth of tone while offering distinct visual textures: the broad shimmer of Sunstone against the fine, directed threads of the rutile.

In the crystal tradition, Sunstone is associated with warmth, optimism, and a naturally uplifting quality — many wearers find it an energising everyday piece. Rutilated Quartz is associated with clarity and a quiet personal vitality. Many find the pairing of the two a considered and complementary daily choice.

This bracelet is made to a 16cm inner measurement on high-elastic wire. To find your size, wrap a soft tape measure, or a strip of paper, around the fullest part of your wrist, then add roughly 1–1.5cm for a comfortable fit. Crystal is durable, but not indestructible. Remove your bracelet before showering, swimming, or sleeping, and keep it away from perfume, lotion, and direct heat, which can dull the surface over time. To clean, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. When resting it, lay it flat rather than stretching it over a hook — this protects the elastic cord and keeps the beads sitting evenly.
