Solar Rainbow Citrine Heart

Citrine is the golden variety of quartz, coloured by traces of iron within the crystal lattice. What makes this particular heart uncommon is the combination of a clean, warm golden body with visible rainbow inclusions — an optical phenomenon produced by internal fractures that split passing light into its full spectrum. Measuring 46 × 24.3 × 38.6 mm and finished to a mirror polish, it sits between our Gilded and Aurora hearts in scale, and surpasses both in the vividness of its rainbow effect.

In the crystal tradition, Citrine is associated with warmth, optimism, and a sense of forward momentum — many find it a natural mood-lifter, and the addition of an internal rainbow makes this a particularly luminous example of the stone.

Citrine is durable but benefits from gentle handling. Dust with a soft, dry cloth, or rinse briefly under cool water and pat dry. Brief daylight is fine and shows the rainbow at its most vivid — we suggest avoiding prolonged direct heat, which can gradually lighten the colour. Set it down on a soft surface, as a knock against a hard edge can chip the carved point of the heart.
