Rabbit Hair Quartz is a variety of rutilated quartz in which the rutile inclusions take a particularly fine, hair-like form — reddish to rose-gold in colour, and so delicate they appear almost woven into the crystal rather than growing within it. The clear quartz body is exceptionally transparent, which allows the needles to be seen in full relief against the light. We hand-select each bead for density and evenness of inclusion, choosing pieces where the rutile spreads across the full bead rather than gathering at one edge.
