Hypersthene Schiller

Hypersthene is a rare iron-magnesium silicate from the pyroxene family, prized for its intense metallic schiller — a sub-surface optical phenomenon produced by microscopic layers of aligned mineral platelets that reflect light like burnished bronze. At 11.5mm+ these are large, substantial beads, and the schiller travels across the full arc of each one. We hand-select each bead for a deep, even black body tone and a strong, consistent flash — the two qualities that separate a truly striking hypersthene piece from an ordinary one.

This bracelet is made to a 17.5cm inner measurement — a generous, relaxed fit suited to medium-to-large wrists and the weight of an 11.5mm+ bead. To check your size, wrap a soft tape measure, or a strip of paper, around the fullest part of your wrist, then add roughly 1–1.5cm for a comfortable fit. Crystal is durable, but not indestructible. Remove your bracelet before showering, swimming, or sleeping, and keep it away from perfume, lotion, and direct heat, which can dull the schiller surface over time. To clean, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. When resting it, lay it flat rather than stretching it over a hook — this protects the elastic cord and keeps the beads sitting evenly.
