Purple Chalcedony

We hand-select each bead for depth of colour and surface quality. Purple chalcedony is a rare variety of microcrystalline quartz — its colour a deep, even amethyst-purple, richer and more saturated than ordinary chalcedony, yet quite different from amethyst in the way it holds light with a smooth, waxy sheen. Collectors nicknamed it the Royal Stone, and the name fits: there is something quietly regal in that settled purple.

In the crystal tradition, purple chalcedony is associated with intuition, inner calm and a nurturing, protective steadiness — the kind of composure that comes from a settled relationship with oneself rather than the absence of feeling. Its waxy, tactile surface makes it a natural stone to keep close, especially for those in caring or demanding roles who want to stay both open and grounded.

Made to a 16.5cm inner measurement on high-elastic cord — a comfortable fit for slightly fuller wrists — with 8mm+ beads. Two styles are offered at the same price, differing only in each strand's natural colour depth and surface pattern, so no two are identical; choose the one whose purple speaks to you. To find your size, wrap a soft tape measure or a strip of paper around the fullest part of your wrist, then add roughly 1–1.5cm for a comfortable fit. Crystal is durable, but not indestructible. Remove your bracelet before showering, swimming, or sleeping, and keep it away from perfume, lotion, and direct heat, which can dull the surface over time. The waxy lustre is a natural surface quality — preserve it with gentle handling. Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth, and lay it flat to rest rather than stretching it over a hook.
