We hand-select each bead for the vividness of its flame. Fire quartz — also called hematoid quartz — is clear quartz shot through with hematite, an iron oxide that glows amber, vermilion and deep rust-red and shifts with the light. The clarity of the quartz lets those flames be seen in full, and no two beads run the same.
In the crystal tradition, fire quartz is regarded as a warm, grounding stone — its hematite often linked with the Root and with a steady, embodied sense of strength, while clear quartz is associated with clarity and focused intention. Many keep it as a daily piece: the everyday, grounded kind of vitality rather than the occasion of it.
