Gilded Citrine Heart

Citrine is the golden variety of quartz, coloured by traces of iron within the crystal lattice. This is the most approachable of our three Citrine hearts in scale — measuring 43 × 20.4 × 35.5 mm — yet it carries the same vivid prismatic rainbow veils that make the stone remarkable. Hand-carved and finished to a warm honey-gold polish, it is beautifully proportioned for everyday display, handling, or gifting.

In the crystal tradition, Citrine is associated with warmth, optimism, and a sense of forward momentum — many find it a natural mood-lifter, a stone that makes a desk or windowsill feel a little more alive.

Citrine is durable but benefits from gentle handling. Dust with a soft, dry cloth, or rinse briefly under cool water and pat dry. Brief daylight is fine and shows the rainbow veils at their best — we suggest avoiding prolonged direct heat, which can gradually lighten the colour. Set it down on a soft surface, as a knock against a hard edge can chip the carved point of the heart.
