Nature paints a koi inside the stone. In these rare fire quartz beads, the red hematite naturally forms swimming koi silhouettes — fins, bodies, movement — hand-arranged so they swim the same way around the wrist. A collector's piece, no two alike.

The Stone

We hand-select and arrange each bead for the clarity of its koi. Fire quartz — clear quartz with red-orange hematite inclusions — occasionally forms patterns that read, unmistakably, as swimming fish: elongated bodies, flowing fins, caught mid-current. These are entirely natural, shaped over geological time, and genuinely rare — a bead with a clearly delineated koi is scarcer than one that is simply large.

The koi is a long-loved emblem of perseverance and moving upstream — of continuing, gracefully, against the current. In the crystal tradition, fire quartz is regarded as a warm, grounding stone, its hematite linked with the Root and a steady sense of strength, its clear quartz with clarity and focused intention. A quiet daily reminder to keep going.

Size & Fit

Made on high-elastic cord in five styles, from 7mm+ to a bold 10.5mm+ bead, and 15.5cm to 17cm — priced by bead size and, above all, the clarity and completeness of each koi formation, since a perfectly delineated koi is rarer than a larger bead. Because the patterns are natural, no two bracelets are alike. To find your size, wrap a soft tape measure or a strip of paper around the fullest part of your wrist, then add roughly 1–1.5cm for a comfortable fit. Care

Crystal is durable, but not indestructible. Keep fire quartz out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect its clarity. Remove your bracelet before showering, swimming, or sleeping, and keep it away from perfume, lotion, and direct heat. Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth, and lay it flat to rest rather than stretching it over a hook — this protects the elastic cord and keeps the beads sitting evenly.
