Violet Peak Amethyst Spire

This specimen is distinguished by the same three qualities as its sister piece, expressed in a slightly different character. A violet phantom nested within the spire marks an earlier stage of growth — visible as a darker internal shadow. Rainbow flashes at the termination tips occur where a thin internal layer splits passing light into full-spectrum colour, brief and luminous with each shift of angle. Black Goethite inclusions at the base are needle-like mineral traces that lend geological depth, grounding the violet above. The crystal measures approximately 74 × 40 × 98 mm on a dark artisan wooden base (95 × 71 × 13.5 mm).

In the crystal tradition, Amethyst is associated with calm, mental clarity, and a quieting of restless thought — one of the most widely used stones for meditation and contemplative spaces. The phantom within this piece carries the geological record of multiple growth stages, and many find it a particularly anchoring presence.

The peak formation suits a mantelpiece, a statement shelf, or a meditation space where the spire can be appreciated from a distance. Place it where angled natural or lamp light can find the terminations — that is where the rainbow flash reveals itself most clearly. The dark wooden base is display-ready; simply place and leave.

Crystal point terminations are delicate — dust gently with a soft dry brush rather than a cloth. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can gradually fade the violet colour. Avoid water immersion; the wooden base must be kept dry. Place on a stable surface and handle with care — the spire formation is naturally top-heavy.
