Amethyst Parrot Specimen
Amethyst Parrot Specimen
A carved crystal parrot perches upon a raw amethyst cluster base — a small, considered pairing of natural stone and artisan carving, where deep violet meets a flash of colour and form. A single, unique specimen; the exact piece shown in our photographs.
The Stone
The base is a natural amethyst cluster — violet quartz formed over millions of years, its colour produced by trace iron within the crystal lattice and natural irradiation during growth. The carved parrot companion rests on its upper surface, hand-finished from a complementary crystal. The amethyst specimen measures 70 × 70 × 100 mm and weighs approximately 425 g, substantial enough to anchor a shelf or desk without a stand.
In the crystal tradition, Amethyst is associated with calm, mental clarity, and a quieting of restless thought. The parrot form — long used as a symbol of communication and attentive presence — makes this an unusual and layered piece: a natural stone with a carved companion that adds character without competing with the mineral itself.

Placement
This piece rests well on a shelf, desk, or reading nook — anywhere it can be seen at close range, where the parrot carving rewards looking. The amethyst base is stable and self-standing, no stand required. Place it where natural or soft lamp light can reach the crystal points to bring out the violet depth.
Care
Dust gently with a soft dry brush rather than a cloth, taking care around the carved parrot. Avoid water immersion and prolonged direct sunlight, which can fade the violet colouration over time. Place on a stable, padded surface and handle with care — crystal points and fine carving details are both delicate.

A few things to note
A few things to note
All pieces are photographed as accurately as possible. The actual stone — its depth of colour, surface texture, and natural markings — is the definitive reference.
As naturally formed stones, minor variations and inclusions are an inherent part of each piece. We are unable to guarantee absolute uniformity, and consider these characteristics part of what makes each bracelet its own.
