Honey Citrine Heart

Citrine is the golden variety of quartz, coloured by traces of iron within the crystal lattice. This particular specimen carries an exceptionally warm honey-gold body tone and a density of internal fractures — the source of the prismatic rainbows — that we look for and hand-select each piece to show. Measuring 53.2 × 26 × 43.1 mm and finished to a mirror polish, it is one of the larger and richer examples in our Citrine heart range.

In the crystal tradition, Citrine is associated with warmth, optimism, and a sense of forward momentum — many find it a natural mood-lifter, and a stone that simply makes a desk or shelf feel more alive.

This heart rests well on a desk, a windowsill, or a bedside — anywhere a little natural light reaches it. Set it where morning sun can pass through the stone and the rainbows will move with the light across the day. As a single carved specimen it makes a quiet centrepiece: one considered object, chosen for itself.

Citrine is durable but benefits from gentle handling. Dust with a soft, dry cloth, or rinse briefly under cool water and pat dry. Brief daylight is fine and shows the rainbows at their best — we suggest avoiding prolonged direct heat, which can gradually lighten the colour. Set it down on a soft surface, as a knock against a hard edge can chip the carved point of the heart.
